Information

History:
The Original Church of Bellie dates from the 12th century and was dedicated to St Peter. It belonged to the Priory of Urquhart. The ancient church stood outside the present town of Fochabers and its ruins can still be seen in the Old Bellie Kirk Yard on the Spey Bay road. The present church is a Category A Listed Building, designed by John Baxter. Built in 1797 it underwent a major re-ordering on 2009 and is now  a wonderful mordern place of worship  with a sense of God's presence and where a warm and friendly church family looks forward to welcoming folk.

Opening Times:
Open most days when other groups are in the Hall (entry through Church Halls and Session House)
Area:
The main settlement of the parish of Bellie is the village of Fochabers, a planned village centering on the beautiful Square, in which are situated both the church and the Manse. There is a good hotel, a selection of attractive shops and a large garden centre, all on the main street.
