information
Our Church which is a beautiful building was reopened in 1977 after extensive alterations to it inside and out, 3 new Gothic Windows were placed in the East Wall of the Church.

A magnificent stained glass window gifted by Mrs. Galloway in memory of her late husband who was killed in the First World War is at the front of the Church behind the Communion Table. During the alterations a three-sided gallery was demolished and today you can still see the original wood making a dado right round the three walls of the church. Lord Strathcona who was a very well known Forres man gave £100 towards the costs and Alexander Walker a native of Rafford gifted a clock for the Church, which we still have today. The Communion Cups we use today were gifted by Alexander Adam (1741-1809) Rector of the Royal High School, Edinburgh at the time Sir Walter Scott was a pupil.

In 1994 a new hall which includes a vestry and kitchen was built, and it is a great asset for the members and congregation of the Church, we now have a hall where a variety of functions are held.

Our church is in a most beautiful rural setting, sitting up on a hill surrounded by green trees and the birds singing, and also a wonderful view of the countryside from the church door.
