Information

The rural parish of Knockando, Elchies and Archiestown embraces the communities of Archiestown, Blacksboat, Cardhu, Carron, Delnapot, Knockando, Macallan and Tamdhu. This beautiful area contains extensive farming and private estates as well as four distilleries.

Our present church is new and bright and replaces a very old Kirk that was destroyed by fire. The congregation have converted the former Watch House in the kirkyard into a chapel. It now provides a place for quiet prayer and contemplation that remains open at all times. Everyone is welcome to make use of this facility.

Our Church Sunday school meets in church every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and caters for children aged 3 years and upwards.

The Church of Scotland Guild meets in the Church Meeting Room at 7:30 p.m. on the last Tuesday of the month.
